Repeaters in Ireland are seen as a vital service for the ham radio community. At present there are 46 repeaters in operation on the island of Ireland.

Each repeater has the potential to reliably relay messages over great distances within the country.

These repeaters are operated in a nationally highly coordinated fashion through licencing authorisation issued by the Commission for Communication Regulation (ComReg).

An excellent resource which can be used to find details regarding a specific repeater can be found on the MyHam portal. MyHam account registration is a free service to all current NRSI members.
